ISA Sport Conference – Lilleshaw

victoria-thornley

One of our Co-Founders, Gary Hector with Victoria Thornley. Victoria is a tall lady!

Great to be involved and demonstrate our product to many PE teachers at the Independent Schools Association Sport Conference at Lilleshaw. We were lucky to stay for the dinner and listen to Victoria Thornley speak about her recent Rio Olympic Silver Medal Success. Victoria discussed her journey from Showjumping to the London Olympics where she rowed to 5th in the 8 woman crew before her 4 year training program towards Rio where she managed a fantastic silver medal rowing with Katherine Grainger.

allencourt

Noel Smith from Alleyn Court and David Higginson, one of the SchoolsBuddy Co-Founders handsover the years subscription to SchoolsBuddy. Noel is also taller than David!

We were also thrilled that Noel Smith from Alleyn Court School was the winner of a year’s free subscription to SchoolsBuddy. There is history between Noel and another of our Founders, David Higginson in that they attended the same school so it was fate when Noel’s name was pulled from the raffle. We are excited to be working with Alleyn Court a leading Independent Prep School in Essex.

Overall a great event and we look to attending again next year.

It is fair to say that the Founders of SchoolsBuddy need to carry a couple of boxes each :)
